Annual Report
The academic year 2018-2019 was a year of achievement for The Harvest Public School.
The school reopened after vacation on June 5th. We had the kindergarten graduation ceremony on 04.08.2018. Trophies and Certificates were awarded for students who had special achievements.
This year Kerala saw one of the all time disaster in the form of flood which affected more than 1 million. We the students, parents, staff and management collected an amount of Rs. 30,000/- in addition to cloth, rice and other commodities were collected and served to the needy.
- We celebrated teacher’s day with all its vigor on 05.09.2018. Students were given opportunities to take up the role of teachers and deliver class.
- On 07.09.2018, the LKG and UKG students conducted field Trip to Thiruvizhamkunnu Vet nary Farm.
- We observed the wild life week from oct 1 to oct 8. Various competitions such as colouring and collage making as well as film show were conducted.
- We observed World Vision day on 16.10.2018. A notice was prepared citing the awareness of how to protect eyes and visited the nearby railway and bus stand areas.
- On 02.11.2018 an in-school Science Exhibition was organized ensuring majority participation and winners were suitably rewarded
- On 08.11.2018, we organized a field trip to PHC. Students from the higher grade were to participate.
- On 10.11.2018, we participated in the Sahodaya Science Fest and Interaction class at Silvermount International School, Perinthalmanna. We bagged the first prize in Quiz and served other prices in various events.
- On 14.11.2018 we celebrated Children’s day with various program.
- On 17.11.2018 Math’s Quiz was conducted
- On 21.11.208, a selfi with mother context was conducted more than 250 parents participated and the winner were awarded on School Annual Day
- On 22.11.2018, Induction Ceremony was conducted. The House Captions, Vice Captains, Sports Captain, Magazine Editor took oath and started their works for fulfillment of role and responsibilities.
- On 23.11.2018 sports day was organized. The winners suitably rewarded.
- On 01.12.2018 Awareness Program were conducted in connection with World Aids Day.
- We observed Computer Literacy week from 03.12.2018 to 09.03.2018. Exhibitions as well as quiz was conducted in this regard.
- Students tour to Banglore – Chicmangaloor was conducted from 05.12.2018 – 08.12.208
- On 10.12.2018, we observed the Human Rights day.
- On 13.12.2018, we organized Parents Sports Meet
As well as released the first ever historic Handwritten School Magazine “drizzle”.
- Christmas celebration took place on 21.12.2018
- On 11.o1.2019, we organized the kids tour to Fantacy park.
- On 17.11.2019, Fruits day was observed. Students actually participate and dressed themselves as fruits and also prepared special juices and dishes.
- We conducted Intensive Coaching for Grade 10 from 10.01.2019 to 21.01.2019
- We participated in the Kids fest at Delhi International School Valanchery on Jan 26. We bagged prizes in almost all events we participated.
- We had our Annual Day Gala -2019 on Feb 16th which turned out to be an excellent one, an eye opener for all other schools to follow. Besides all these regular PTA meeting, Teacher Training Program, Health and Hygiene awareness classes, Life Skill based Programs and Meet the Personalities are the other programs conducted on a regular basis.
